Many Thousands of bamboo from Khumi hill were sold!!

Bamboo are naturally growing in the land of Khumi hills itself. It tells how beautiful hill sight
to all visitors. The color always green. But in summer, the color of bamboo are little bit turn to yellow. Do you know what these bamboo are used for? They are pretty useful for Khumi Hill people. They build house with bamboo. Especially who depend on working “Lau” for their career. Due to easier moving a place to place, Khumi hill people make the house temporary with bamboo.
Not only it is useful for building houses, some business men came to Paletwa township and taking these bamboo to Rakhine state for sell. Many thousands of bamboo were sold. Many business men arrived to Paletwa and purchasing bamboo. They delivered them to big market and making lots of money for their own.
But Khumi hill people still unrecognized why business people came and purchasing bamboo such much. And they even never intend to tell to hill people.
See the picture, it is carrying the bamboo to Rakhine state to sell in big market with high prices. But people still only acknowledge that these bamboo are originally from Rakhine state. We are very sad for it.
